First of all the welfare system is there for a reason! When you have kids you want to be able to have food for them - wouldn't you? I used to work as a cashier at a supermarket and the ratio of people (and families) that used food stamps was quite big!

One such charity gives up to $9,000 for emergency financial need! There is a website online that allows people to submit requests for money and you can request up to $1,000 (or more). If you are willing to do the work then you should be able to find these programs that can help you financially.
